I have worked in property insurance for more than for 19 years. I joined the business development team at Deacon in 2011 and over the next six years gained valuable insights into the often complex residential leasehold sector, looking after freeholders, landlords and the directors of Residential Management Companies and Right to Manage Companies. I now lead the Direct Sales Team, where I manage the day to day running of the team and help them to achieve the best outcome for customers.
I started my career in insurance with Lloyds banking group, where I learned valuable skills and knowledge leading to the CII Certificate. I’m currently an Account Executive supporting my clients with their renewals as well as helping new customers to meet their insurance needs with a variety of products.
I joined Deacon in 2003, as I saw the business offering great opportunities to develop my career within the insurance industry – and it has not disappointed. I completed a Chartered Management Institute diploma and now proudly lead a team that provides a first class service to our customers. I am an active member of our senior leadership team, and oversee sales teams focussing on the needs of both new and existing customers.
I began my career in the insurance industry in 2015 and from then I have developed my skills in sales, retention and customer services. Since joining Deacon in March 2022 I have enjoyed learning all aspects of the role and having the opportunity to develop my career. I enjoy the challenges presented and strive to achieve the best for our customers, providing them with support and ensuring their policies are best suited for their needs.
I was working as a Senior Advisor at another Gallagher company, Insurer4Retirement, when I got the opportunity to transfer to Deacon. I didn’t hesitate and now enjoy a much more complex role specialising in residential leasehold insurance. I talk to freeholders and leaseholders every day, providing information on buildings insurance to a host of add on products like terrorism. It’s a really interesting and often challenging sector, and I’m looking forward to developing my career here.
I have over 4 years’ experience within personal lines insurance covering a sales, retention and customer services providing a range of different products. When I was given the opportunity to join Deacon in 2022, I didn’t hesitate and now enjoy a diverse role in an interesting and sometimes challenging sector. I am excited to continue to develop my career within such a supportive company.
My career in insurance began in 2012 with personal lines home insurance. I started at Gallagher in 2013 when the opportunity arose to specialise in commercial insurance as an Account Executive. I started a family in 2018 and thanks to a great team ethos, I now enjoy the flexibility of working part-time and have a great home/work life balance
I had already been working within Gallagher for nearly 10 years when I got the welcome opportunity to transfer to Deacon. I enjoy my new specialist role in Blocks of Flats insurance, making sure all the information is correct and up to date for both buildings cover and he essential add-on products that some people need.
