Deacon wins ‘Broker Claims Team of the Year Award’ at this year’s Claims Excellence Awards

Deacon has won ‘Broker Claims Team of the Year Award’ at this year’s Claims Excellence Awards, organised by The Insurance Times magazine.

Over 300 insurance professionals attended the event at The Brewery in London to recognise those on the frontline in insurance and who have direct contact with customers in their hour of need.

Announcing Deacon as the winners the judges said: “this company has demonstrated an outstanding level of innovation in improving the customer experience.”

Alysa Weiner, who heads up Deacon’s claims team, said: “This is a great achievement. We were in a tough category against two other insurance intermediaries, including Pen Underwriting, another group company within the Gallagher family, and we are absolutely thrilled that the judges have recognised the innovation, commitment and passion of the Deacon team.”

“Our claims team works so hard throughout the year and this award is a great endorsement for them and everyone at Deacon. And thanks also to the organisers, who surpassed themselves in organising such a great event, for us and all our industry colleagues,” she added.
