Deacon has been named Employer of the Year for 2018 at the annual Property Management Awards in London.

Hosted by News on the Block publisher, the Property Management Awards is one of the most prestigious events in the block management calendar and attracted more than 1,000 guests to this year’s awards dinner. *

James Collins, Managing Director of Deacon and Insure4Retirement based in Bournemouth said:  “We’re delighted to have won this award.”

“So much of what we are able to do for our colleagues stems from being part of something much bigger.  As part of Gallagher, we are able to offer a best-in-class rewards and benefits package and a huge range of training and development opportunities within a culture that encourages internal recruitment and career advancement.”

“Over the past three years, our Bournemouth team has raised more than £77,000 with matched giving for charities and contributed more than 316 hours to our target to clock-up more than 90,000 volunteering hours worldwide to celebrate our 90th anniversary.”

“Congratulations to the Deacon team on this outstanding result.”

The news follows the announcement in October that Gallagher is the only insurance brokerage firm recognised by Forbes Magazine as a “World’s Best Employer” for 2018.
