Our legal name is changing but the company remains the same!
On the 1st October 2016 our legal name will be changing. The Deacon business, which is currently part of Property & Commercial Limited, is being transferred to another firm within the Arthur J. Gallagher group. This means we will be part of Arthur J. Gallagher Insurance Brokers Limited (AJGIBL) who will become responsible for providing insurance broking and ancillary services to you in place of P&C but still branded as Deacon.
The only change you’ll notice is the footer at the bottom of all our documentation. The new regulatory disclosures on your policy documents will reflect the fact that another FCA authorised firm, is providing insurance broking services to you.
The new regulatory disclosure will be as follows:
“Deacon is a trading name of Arthur J. Gallagher Insurance Brokers Limited which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. FRN 311786. Registered office: Spectrum Building, 7th Floor, 55 Blythswood Street, Glasgow, G2 7AT. Registered in Scotland. Company Number: SC108909.”
