Block Insurer of the Year 2016/2017

Deacon won Block Insurer of the Year  for the second year in a row at the 2016/2017 Property Management Awards, organised by News on the Block magazine.

Over 800 property professionals attended the event at Wembley Stadium to learn who the industry and customers had voted for from the judges’ shortlist.

Gareth Birch, managing director at Deacon, said: “What a fantastic way to end 2016 and go into 2017.  The Block Insurer of the Year award is based on votes from the judges and our customers. It’s a great endorsement of the service we offer and we are very grateful to everyone who voted for us.

Broker Claims Team of the Year 2016

Deacon won ‘Broker Claims Team of the Year Award’ at this year’s Claims Excellence Awards, organised by The Insurance Times magazine.

Over 300 insurance professionals attended the event at The Brewery in London to recognise those on the frontline in insurance and who have direct contact with customers in their hour of need.

Announcing Deacon as the winners the judges said: “this company has demonstrated an outstanding level of innovation in improving the customer experience.”

Alysa Weiner, who heads up Deacon’s claims team, said: “This is a great achievement. We were in a tough category against two other insurance intermediaries and we are absolutely thrilled that the judges have recognised the innovation, commitment and passion of the Deacon team.”

Deacon was announced Block Insurer of the Year at the 2015/2016 Property Management Awards , organised by News on the Block magazine.
